It’s a conspiracy. All of it. Now if only we knew what “it” is. But I get ahead of myself. My name is Rumo Heb Din, cofounder of Team Spire. Thus logs the next step in our journey towards the truth of Ocialo.
Where we last left off, my noble compatriots Lyla, Arthur, and Jozari had set up a meeting between Uma (our princess and my dear cousin [slightly removed]), the island heads, and ourselves. This meeting was meant to give way to an expedition, one we are currently preparing for as I write. However, before our expedition, there was still the safety of the island from the bizarre weather patterns. Uma and Arthur (a Charmed pair) reckoned they could use their magic to protect the citizens from the heat wave if we could gather them all in one spot. We spread through the island and all definitely equally succeeded in convincing the commonfolk into joining us. Nobody was laughed off a college campus, and especially no one set a park on fire. I’m offended just at the thought of such accusations!
With help from a legendary Sky Snake (whom Jozari informs me is called Rayquaza), Uma kept the citizens safe. We noticed, however, that not only were we aussalted by a heat wave, but by poisonous smog as well. This could spell trouble for use later, as Star can control the fire Beings of Danger, but perhaps not other types. Speaking of Star, it became clear to us that her ambition might spell future trouble for us. We called on Tracker, trusting his vaguely pathetic nature to keep him honest, and asked him about her and the system by which isle heads are appointed. I will not record every detail here, but please know, dear reader, that the system is vague as hell.
Most importantly, we learned an exciting new truth. The villain who held me in his compound was not a cave dweller, but a SKY DWELLER. It was within his Drifblim that he built his base and its destruction was due to its ability, Aftermath. I have since caught a Drifloon and am excited for the aerial travel my new friend holds. We grow ever closer to our expedition. Pray it is Team Spire who comes out on top.
