Today, I am dropping what may evolve into a new mess that excites and scares me. I want to thank the four players who attended that session and helped me beta test the first Chambers & Charizard campaign ever as well as the many guests and readers that followed the adventures from the Forces Above and the Forces Below. Many of their contributions were inspiring and made it into this project. So today, I drop the long-awaited Chambers & Charizard: Gold Silver & Crystal Edition. I’ve been busy writing the largest update that Chambers & Charizard has ever seen and unfortunately there are some things I wanted to detail more as far as world building in the book but I did not get the time to do so. However, here is a shortened list of everything I did do. 5 years ago this week I ran the first two one shots to test Chambers and Charizard, or as it was known then, Pokémon D&D alpha. This was after three and a half years of writing a rulebook that would be easy enough to understand that others would be able to play the game without help from me. It's exciting to see how many new campaigns and one-shots have been created with many creative ideas, all from this system. It's still weird to think that there are multiple people who have spent more time, as players and GMs individually, in ChaCha than I have spent in both roles combined. Will this rulebook ever be done? Dunno, good question! Am I excited to release a new update?
