After a night of rest, Rumo hobbled around as he tried to leave Kelly’s house because he wants to go cheer up the townsfolk after the “groundstorm” yesterday. Kelly is a nice woman who allowed us to rest up for the night (and hopefully another day) in her house on her humble farm. She saw that Rumo was injured and convinced him to go back to bed. Rumo with the gung-ho spirit that he has settled for resting on the couch. Somehow during Kelly and Rumo’s bickering, Lyla walked out of the house to scrounge up some food. To pay back her kindness, I asked Kelly if she needed help with anything around the house. She pointed me around her farm and other various plots of land to go collect various crops that may have been damaged and to prevent Pokémon at night from taking them. Kelly told me that it has been particularly murkrows that have been festering her fields. While I was doing this good deed, Rumo sneaked out to do his performances for the town, and Lyla returned to Kelly’s house. Lyla freaked out not seeing Rumo and I, therefore she woke up Arthur (with litleo on his face naturally) to see if he knew where we went. Kelly calmed Lyla down and told her what happened. Lyla and Arthur decided to go look for Rumo. Using her ranger skills, Lyla was able to find Rumo’s tracks into town.
Rumo found an open spot in the town and performed with Skamp and then another with Morrigan. To end his performance, he gave a not so rousing speech to the crowd about how the royal family supports them and is doing what they can to support the town. From what Arthur told me, he overheard people walking away from the performance saying it was nice that he did that, but they weren’t very motivated into feeling better. Arthur and Lyla did use this information to further track down Rumo, to which they met him in the central plaza after he gave the same performances again. Being overjoyed (and injured), the trio collapses on each other in a group hug as Lyla gave an awkward speech about friendship maybe (everyone was confused by the moment, even Scrappy).
During their hug fest, I had returned home and rested some. Kelly was nice enough to feed me lunch and even gave some to Doofenshmirtz. Growing bored, I decided to head into town to buy some supplies and I somehow met up with the rest of the gang. They gave me some money to buy supplies for them as well since they are headed back to Kelly’s. When I got to the first of two stores, I ended up buying all the pokeballs in stock even though I wanted to buy more because it wasn’t enough for our group’s order. The store owner wouldn’t tell me if other stores sold pokeballs but I suspect he monopolizes the market in this area. I saw a lady on the street and she was able to tell me directions to the area’s Pokémon daycare. I was hoping to gain some more breeder knowledge or even an egg. Along the way, I saw an older farmer doing still doing some clean up work after the groundstorm and decided to help him out for a bit. He was so grateful that he gave me a chesto berry. I wonder why I have been doing all these good deeds today. R̶u̶m̶o̶’̶s̶ ̶d̶i̶s̶p̶o̶s̶i̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶m̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶r̶u̶b̶b̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶o̶f̶f̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶m̶e̶. The trio finally hobbled all the way back to Kelly’s house and was able to eat lunch. Somehow Litleo’s hairball got into Arthur’s soup, and he still continued to eat it anyways. Their bond must really be a close one. Arthur did relay to me that during lunch, lightning rod received another jolt of electricity when Rumo said aloud, “I think the world of you Lyla.”
After effortlessly making my way to the daycare center, I met Lydia who I believe is the owner of this location. She is a young adult full of Pokémon knowledge. She did not have time to teach me much because the day was almost over, but she did show me around and taught me new information about different enclosures that Pokémon would prefer. She told me a trainer named Winston left his togetic here and it has left a few eggs. I asked if I could receive one, but she said I would need Winston’s permission first. Lydia said I could come back tomorrow to learn more, and I decided to take her up on that offer.
I returned to Kelly’s home and patched up Rumo a little. Now that we are all back in one place again, we decided to engage in some training. Scrappy and Doofenshmirtz got in some battle training but then Lyla and I heard some of the murkrows Kelly told me about earlier. Lyla tried to intimidate them away but instead she got initimated by one of them as it flew at her and back off again. Not a very bright decision but I decided to look for them in the dark with a light source. I battled its friends instead and beat them easily with my new companion Clint (Gligar) and Tango. Lyla having a superior sense of direction than I do found me in the fields and led me back. Rumo and Arthur was trying win over Phosmage but only with moderate success. We tried to scare it off, yet it dove straight at Lyla; however, being the lover hero that he is, Rumo jumped in the way to protect her. Intimikrow finally flew off, although it looked like Rumo took some major damage. You couldn’t tell by his actions though. We asked him if he was ok, but he told us he was fine.
